Having successfully achieved a complete sell-out for the main Grand Prix, the commercial objective immediately shifted to maximising regional revenue and sponsor visibility through an official ancillary event: the Fanzone GNP. The challenge was to strategically harness the immense momentum and unmet ticket demand from the main race, redirecting that audience enthusiasm to aggressively drive ticket sales for a secondary festival without causing brand fatigue.
I pivoted our high-performing digital marketing machinery—the exact infrastructure that had just secured the main event sell-out—to orchestrate a highly targeted cross-promotional campaign.
Capitalising on our extensive first-party database, established social media channels, and paid media architecture, I deployed a series of conversion-focused campaigns. By positioning the Fanzone GNP as the ultimate destination for fans who missed out on trackside tickets, as well as an extended celebration for those already attending, we effectively captured the overflow demand. My role involved adapting the creative strategy to align with our shared sponsors whilst executing the digital distribution across all platforms. This agile reallocation of our digital resources successfully drove substantial ticket sales for the ancillary event, delivering exceptional ROI and expanded reach for our brand partners.
