Formula One Management (FOM) aimed to drive regional sales for a highly exclusive, premium e-commerce offering via F1 Authentics: giving fans the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their names printed on the official chequered flag for the Grand Prix. The challenge was to effectively leverage and monetise the MexicoGP first-party database for a global product, ensuring the communication felt bespoke, prestigious, and culturally resonant to the local fanbase, all whilst strictly adhering to FOM’s overarching commercial and brand guidelines.
Acting as the strategic bridge between global commercial objectives and regional audience engagement, I managed the end-to-end execution of this highly targeted direct marketing campaign.
Working from the core proposition provided by FOM, I adapted and localised the communication strategy to maximise its impact within the Mexican market. My execution involved crafting compelling, prestige-driven copy, designing the email architecture for optimal user experience and conversion, and deploying the campaign to carefully segmented audience lists within our database. By seamlessly adapting global assets for local deployment, the campaign successfully drove high-value e-commerce traffic to the F1 Authentics platform, proving the immense commercial power and monetisation potential of a strategically nurtured local fanbase.
