// THE_CHALLENGE
Managing press accreditation at an event of Formula 1's magnitude is a critical process that demands security, order, and efficiency. The challenge was to replace manual processes with a centralized digital platform that would allow hundreds of national and international journalists to apply for their credentials. The system had to meet two objectives: maintain F1's premium aesthetic and manage complex approval workflows in an automated and secure manner.
// STRATEGY & EXECUTION
As the overall project manager, I developed a custom solution using WordPress as its core operating system, transforming a content management system (CMS) into a logistics management tool:
+ Accreditation Management Architecture: I implemented and configured a system of intelligent forms and workflows that enabled the real-time receipt, review, and approval of press accreditation applications.
+ Art Direction and Branding: I created the specific graphic guidelines for the Media Centre, generating all visual assets (logos, status icons, headers, and visual guides) to ensure that the press experienced a professional and brand-consistent environment.
+ User Interface (UI/UX) Development: I designed the complete website, focusing on a clear and frictionless registration process, making it easy for users to upload required documents (IDs, proof of employment, etc.) and check their status.
+ Data Security and Organization: I structured the database so that event administrators could manage requests in bulk, guaranteeing the integrity of sensitive media information.
