To elevate social media engagement and aggressively drive first-party data capture, the objective was to introduce a gamified digital experience for the motorsport fanbase. The challenge was twofold: conceptualise a highly engaging digital activation that would incentivise fans to hand over their data, and execute it technically within a third-party environment. The solution required a seamless blend of striking visual design, compelling incentive-based marketing, and advanced frontend customisation to ensure the platform looked completely native to the brand.
I collaborated with Tradable Bits to develop a bespoke suite of interactive social campaigns, with the standout activation being a custom memory game celebrating legendary Mexican drivers. My contribution spanned the entire project lifecycle, merging creative direction with technical development.
From a marketing perspective, I designed the core concept, created the visual assets for the game interface, and executed a targeted digital promotional campaign offering a ‘Pit Lane Walk 2022’ as the ultimate registration incentive. From a technical standpoint, I engineered bespoke frontend code to heavily customise the Tradable Bits website architecture, pushing the platform’s boundaries. The custom coding techniques and architectural tweaks I implemented were so effective that Tradable Bits subsequently adopted several of my methodologies as best practice for their own platform. The campaign was exceptionally well-received, driving a massive influx of high-quality registrations and proving the immense value of combining technical development with strategic gamification.
