Managing accredited national and international press for the event and monitoring their needs is complex for large events. Therefore, a digital platform was required to serve as a direct channel to national and international journalists in their own language, notifying them and communicating important information related to the event, such as emergency response points, rules for using the facilities, schedules for private transfer services, event maps, and even their allergy and emergency contact information, to ensure a better experience at the event.
As the overall project manager, I developed a customized solution using WordPress as its core operating system, transforming a content CMS into a logistics management tool:
+ Accreditation Management Architecture: I implemented and configured a system that connected to the accreditation system to pre-approve users and provide them with a personalized welcome in their language.
+ Art Direction and Branding: I created specific graphic guidelines for the Media Centre, generating all visual assets (logos, status icons, headers, and visual guides) to ensure that the press experienced a professional and brand-consistent environment.
+ User Interface (UI/UX) Development: I designed the complete website, focusing on a clear and frictionless registration process, facilitating user access to the information vital to their journalistic work.
Data Security and Organization: I structured the database so that event administrators could easily and quickly locate users and provide them with personalized service.”
